But I’m taking my iPod with me. 🙂 I called the Apple support line, and they confirmed that the iPod doesn’t need a wattage converter, just a plug converter.

Okay, I confess. I’m one of those miserable bastards whose only knowledge of the Quiet Beatle was from the recordings of the Fab Four, “Cloud Nine,” and the Traveling Wilburys (plus a vague horrified memory of “Gone Troppo”). I’m listening to Isn’t It A Pity for the first time and I’m knocked out.

Interesting postscript to my WOMAD writings. Tony Levin wrote about the show too and took photos from the stage! Unfortunately I was too far over on the edge of the stage to make it into any of them…

I was pretty sad about George Harrison’s passing yesterday. It’s pretty sad that on a day like today, the World AIDS Day site is only #3 on Blogdex. Apparently, we’re not all doing our jobs… 🙂

This morning, a moment of silence for George Harrison, who lost his long struggle with cancer yesterday. The Washington Post has a good eulogy, as does the BBC.
