Manila Envelope 1.0.3a has been released. This is a Jaguar compatibility release that contains the following:
- Changed RPC code to cooperate with Jaguar’s underlying changes to SOAP and XMLRPC.
- Open brackets (<) now escaped as HTML entity to avoid a problem with Jaguar’s XMLRPC layer (messages containing open brackets were being prematurely truncated resulting in empty news items etc. being posted).
- Converted all SOAP calls to XMLRPC in the process of debugging the Jaguar RPC problems.
Department names with spaces result in invalid XML being returned from Manila. This causes an error to be returned. Workaround: rename your department names and eliminate the spaces. This problem may be addressed in a future release of Manila Envelope.
