substantiated 100%. It is the thought of my cousin, Paul Swofford, that the
date is possibly 1877. Nancy Sparks was the daughter of Jeremiah and the
sister of Thomas M. Sparks, Jesse Mason Sparks's father. Nancy Green, age 47,
is listed in the 1850 Yancey Co., N. C. Census living in the household of her
husband Arthur Green. Also listed in 1850 Yancey Census, age 58. (D.McBee)
