of household, age 63, wife Nancy, 58, children, James, 21, Stephen, 14,
Samuel, 12, Martha, 17, and Lucinda, 15. Arthur spent the last few years of
his life with his daughter, Isabella, who was residing with her son, Larkin
B. Jarrett, in Bakersville. Arthur Green, age 52, is listed as head of house-
hold in the 1850 Yancey County, North Carolina Census with wife Nancy, age 47.
