My friend Stephanie Kendall sent me a link to an article on Salon.com today. The article looks at life in the Taliban's Afghanistan from a woman's point of view, detailing the struggles of RAWA, a resistance movement. It so completely expresses how I feel about a potential military conflict with Afghanistan, among other things, that I'm just posting the link here without comment.

(Well, with minimal comment. Oddly enough, "Russians" by Sting was spinning on my player as I read the article. Given that I don't believe in coincidence, that's downright spooky.)
