i came to this story late in the game. the guy was fired because he broke company policy. the woman did nothing wrong but he knew what he said was wrong and not allowed by the company. they have an orientation video. it says there is NO discrimination. PERIOD. he signed an agreement that he understood the company policies. he was justly terminated. and what woman doesn’t talk about her upcoming wedding gay or straight? jeeze louise.

I’m more or less an atheist, so biblical debates don’t resonate with me very much, but it always annoys when people like Eric decide to take up God’s mantle, interfering in some people’s lives and denouncing others. I always thought God alone, if He exists, was supposed to do that. And anyway, how is one supposed to have a debate with someone who calls the world’s second largest religious denomination (behind Islam) evil?

Catholics are evil and the religion they practice is evil, and isn’t doctrinal for that matter.No I was just trying to figure out, in my head, how people like you even get by.

Things like; “Vadala’s faith-based objections to bludgeon the happiness of others is an act of supreme uncharity,” Well since we already covered scripture where God described three objections to homosexuality, I guess that makes God uncharitable.

Or; “Depends–he may have thought he was witnessing to her, but it was certainly not promoting well-being to pour disapproval on her love for her partner.” I guess Jesus must have been pissing off all kinds of people, when he expressed his disapproval of man’s sin.Her love for her partner, her lust for her partner.Because homosexuality is nothing more than a sexual perversion.

It is as I said on previous page, all the lies you spread,you will be held accountable and judged for you actions.No man will escape the judgment of God, especially liars such as yourself.

Eric, with respect to caritas and virtues, I'm referencing 1 Corinthians 13, which in KJV says "now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity" and which is generally translated in modern times "now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." I don't think this is a particularly Catholic verse, nor that Catholicism has a monopoly on the concept of virtue. Catholicism does draw a distinguishing line between faith, hope and charity/love--aka the "theological virtues"--and the "cardinal virtues," because it holds that the former three cannot be attained by effort but must be infused into the person by grace of the Holy Spirit. But Corinthians still stands even if you don't buy the Catholic theology.

Question, “Caritas is one of the core virtues”, when you say virtues it sticks in my crawl.Isn’t virtues tied to Catholicism?
